Telekom Veszprém will face Aalborg Handbold on Wednesday in the upcoming round of the EHF Champions League. We asked our head coach and players about their expectations on their trip to Denmark.

David Davis: I am 100% sure that it will be a complicated game. Aalborg is a great team, they are disciplined and have a strong defense, while playing smart in offense. Their goalkeeper is really good and their tactics as well. I am happy to have the chance to see how my team plays in away against a great opponent.

Gasper Marguc: We expect a tough game because they only lost two games this season, in Kiel and at home against Barca. They have a lot of quality. They play typical Scandinavian handball with fast passes and with extremely fast wing players. If we will be on our level, the one we have been playing on this season, I think we have a good chance to win.

Vladimir Cupara: The game against Aalborg will be difficult, especially with the situation we are in right now, missing players. The truth is that we played in Kiel with also some players missing and we managed to play in high level and achieve a draw in the Sparkassen Arena. We understand that the situation is difficult, and Aalborg is a really great team, but we will give our best to win there and bring two points home. After that, we will still have some difficult matches, and the Final4. We are getting ready for that every day and we cannot wait to start these important and difficult games to start.

Patrik Ligetvári: I expect a really tough game, because Aalborg does really well in the group phase. It makes our job even harder, that we have a lot of missing players, but we know that if we come together, we can beat anyone. This is why we train day in, day out. We are facing a hard task, but we will accomplish it, and I hope we can bring two points back home from Denmark.
