As we reported in March, our young goalkeeper, Benedek Nagy, was loaned to the Spanish team Valladolid during the season. Benedek made his mark in Veszprém as the third-choice goalkeeper, delivering performances with over 40% save rates in consecutive matches, playing half a game each time. He managed to carry this good form into the months he spent at Valladolid, where he consistently performed well and often made game-deciding saves in the Spanish top division.
Considering Benedek's request to try his skills in Germany, together with sports director László Nagy, we chose the HBW Balingen-Weilstetten team, with whom we signed a one-year loan agreement. This opportunity will greatly support our goalkeeper's professional development, ensuring he gets sufficient playing time and the right amount of challenge. We wish Beni great success with his challenges in Germany, and we're cheering for you!
