Carlos Ruesga Pasarín Gijonban was bor non 10th March, 1985. He is 184 cm tall and his weight is88 kg. His position: playmaker.

He burst into the forefront of handball as a super-talent. He twinkled his talents in one of the best teams in Europe, which lived its’ golden age, and which was marked with the name of Ivano Balic, Pamplona.

A serious knee injury hampered the fulfillment of his talents. But with the hard work over the years he climbed back to the elite itself and became the leading figure of Ademar Leon. They stopped Veszprem in the eighty-finals in the Champions League last year.

As a national team player he achieved his biggest success in the World Championship, which was organized in Spain in 2013, where he won the gold medal.

The great playmaker, who signed a 2 year contract with MKB Veszprem, had been presented at a press conference in the Veszprem Arena.

-I am very happy to be a Veszprem player. As opponent I also loved to play in the old hall. In the Veszprem Arena the mood was exhilarating even as I step onto the field as an opponent. Generally, my play against Veszprem was good, and I hope that I can provide good performance in the colors of Veszprem as well.

After the press conference Carlos Ruesga stepped onto the field as a member of the World-team in the honorary match of Carlos Perez.
