Foreshadow: Cegléd – Veszprém

Telekom Veszprém will play against Ceglédi KKSE on Wednesday at 18:00 in the K&H League. The hall of Cegléd is under reconstruction, hence the game will be played in Abony. The match will be broadcasted live by Veszprém Handball TV YouTube channel!

This is going to be our second game against Cegléd this season. Not even a month ago, they visited Veszprém Aréna. Telekom started strong and racked up a comfortable lead by the 12^th minute, which grew even higher by the end of the first half. The teams went on the break with a 17:6 home advantage.

In the second period nothing changed, Veszprém continued dominating the game and achieved a comfortable 34:19 victory on home court. The top scorer of the game was Manuel Strlek with six goals.

Cegléd managed to play three games this season so far, out of which they won one against Dabas. The other two games and losses came from Veszprém and from FTC, which ended 31:19. The two top scorers of the team are Károly Juhász and Bence Zakics with nine goals each.

Telekom Veszprém played their last game in the Champions League. They managed to win a high-scoring game in Ukraine against Motor Zaporozhye. In the 34:37 victory, Petar Nenadic scored ten times. In the K&H League they played their last game against Orosháza on home court, which ended in yet another comfortable victory of 37:20.

The negative COVID tests of Cegléd have arrived this afternoon, which means that the game will be played tomorrow for sure.
