Sport36-Komló will host Telekom Veszprém in the K&H League on Monday at 18:00. The game will be broadcasted live by Veszprém Handball TV YouTube channel.

The last time we met Komló was in March, on the road. We pulled off a confident performance and leading all the way we achieved a 17:31 victory. Our top scorer was Gasper Marguc with ten goals.

Our opponent is on seventh position on the table, however it is still a close battle. So far they collected four victories, a draw and lost four times. They hosted Budakalász on Saturday, where they won 34:33 on an exciting game. Top scorer of the team is Igor Markovic with 52 goals.

Over the summer only three players left Komló, while five new ones came. The leaving players are: Ádám Gebhardt, Ádám Pál and the retiring Branislav Obradovic. The newcomers are Tamás Oláh from FTC, Bruno Vili-Zobec from Cegléd, Péter Vaskó and Bence Takács from Eger, and Norbert Jóga from Mezőkövesd.

Telekom Veszprém played in the Champions League on Saturday, when they faced Meshkov Brest. The result was a 30:37, dominant victory for the “Építők”. Our top scorers were Petar Nenadic and Dragan Gajic with 8 goals each. In the Hungarian league, we hosted Csurgó last week whom we beat confidently 36:20.
