MKB-MVM Veszprém had its 13th victory on Wednesday and it impeccably keeps going toward the final four of the South-East-European tournament. Confident winning against Radnicki was a great start for the upcoming long spring. You can read about the match in more details here.

The team is going to have a lot of games in February and in March so it is not surprising that on Saturday a new SEHA League game is waiting for the team at the Croatian silver medalist RK Nexe’s home. The match starts at 6 pm. Digi Sport2 will broadcast it at 8 pm.

We have already introduced our next opponent team before their first clash. In the game of September 16 in Veszprém Arena, we had a huge victory against the young Croatian squad scoring twice as many as they (36:18). Veszprém’s most successful player was Christian Zeitz with his 7 goals and in the other team, Ante Gadze tried to keep up with him with 5 scores.

Nexe is currently the 7th in SEHA League. Zdenko Kordi’s team has won twice against Radnicki and once against Borac. They achieved a draw as Vojvodina’s guest and they also have nine defeats. Their most successful player is the Turkish right back, Can Celebi, who is the 7th in the League’s scoring list with 48 goals.

Today Chema Rodríguez, Cristian Ugalde and Mirko Alilovic joined MKB-MVM Veszprém’s squad after a long stay in the Qatar World Championship. They took part in a medical examination then in practice with the others so Coach Ortega can count on them in the match of Eszék.

All in all, a new game is coming which is a new step toward achieving our goals. This is what the following video is about. It will be displayed on the large scoreboard before the games at home.
