What were your experiences of Veszprém before you have signed?

I had been here two years ago, when we played against Veszprém in the Quarterfinal.  And of course I remember the group match before that, when one of the referees had a positive COVID test so actually there was no match. These were my experiences before I signed the contract here. But I recognized that the atmosphere is a real special one, in Veszprém Handball takes a special part of people’s heart. I was so excited to come here to play.

You have been here for a few days, what did you do on last week?

Yes I arrived on the last Monday, you know we have a training plan for the summer which I had started in France and when I came to Veszprém of course I continued it. As I knew that Mikita (Vailupau) had just arrived after me I asked him to do the exercises together. Because it is always better.

Did you have any time to discover the nearby?

When I was here first to sign I discovered a few things in the city, tried some coffee shop, restaurants, I was at Lake Balaton. But of course I need more time to discover more so If I have freetime in the season I will do it for sure.

Who have you already known in the team?

Vladimir Cupara from the Serbian National team, Kentin Mahé from French National team but we have met only a few times. Of course I played against almost everybody here but to meet everybody thorougly needs more time. I can’t wait for this and I am not afraid of it, it is a friendly team so it will be okay.

So you were born in France but you play for the Serbian National team… ?

Actually I was born in France, my father is french and my mother is serbian. I live in France since my birth. I feel my blood half Serbian and half French which is a good combination I think. I have been playing for the Serbian National team since the last June.

What do you think about the Club?

The club is so professional, I feel no stressed, normally when somebody become a new player it can be so stressful. In the Club everybody so helpful and kind. It seems so familiar and it is good.

What are your goals here in Veszprém?

When I signed here, I thought that I am a good player, but here in Veszprém the team is a collection of good players, so I received some motivation to countinue my hardwork on the highest level. My goals are to recover the Hungarian Championship title because I know that Szeged won it in the last two seasons. And of course after that in the row we want to go to Cologne in every year, and first time win the Champions League. These are my goals.
