We spoke with our new singing, Ignacio Biosca.

So after a really successful season, you left Wisla Plock, and signed for Veszprém. What kind of ambitions do you come with? What do you feel?

I'm really excited. We are one of the best teams and favorites to get all the titles. I think we, for sure, we will compete for all the titles and we will be there in the most important moments of the season.  So I think that's the mission of the club and I'm also coming here really hungry for these trophies. And I'm sure that I will have the team to get them.

You will have your teammates in the goal, Rodrigo Corralas and Benedek Nagy. What do you think about them? Do you know Rodrigo Corralas before?

I grew up in the Barca academy teams with Rodrigo. He's four years older than me and we know each other since I was 14 or 15 years old. And after we played one season together in the second team of Barca. So, yeah, we know each other. I've worked well with him. It's nice that we are going to share again.

So it will be a good team and Árpád Sterbik, I also played with him in the first team of Barca. Two seasons. I was the third goalkeeper. I always say that for me, he's one of the best goalkeepers, if not the best in the handball history. And it's, of course, an honor also to work again with him and to be my goalkeeper trainer. So, yeah, I'm sure I will learn a lot from him.

You were here for a few days before the camp, have you seen anything of the city or Hungary, for example? What were your first impressions?

I was in Veszprém for a few days, there were a lot of people because there was a festival. So it was nice to see this. But I still have a lot to discover because I hadn’t have so much time to see around. And the day before I spent the whole day in Hungaroring, watching the F1 race, and enjoyed a lot. I were in Budapest, as I've been many times in the past. I know it quite very well, I always say one of my favorite cities in Europe.

But I was one summer with Patrik Ligetvári because we are really good friends, we played together in Ademar Leon. And I'm really good friend of Heni also, his wife, of him, and we spent one summer in Balaton Sound. It was really nice.

So, you know from this team, Patrik and Rodrigo?

And Sergei from Plock.

And who else, do you know, from this team?

I met Gasi and Mahé on the wedding of Patrik also. But yeah, personally, I would say, Sergei, Rodego, and Patrik.

What do you think about the Veszprém Arena? You have played here with Wisla in the last season, what do you think about the fans?

It's amazing. Like, I already said, when I was in Plock for me, it was because I was also coming from one team that we don't have many fans in Kadetten Schaffhausen. But in Plock, I enjoyed so much playing in front of the fans. And here, It will be for sure even crazy, even better. So I love this. As a player, I think it's the best feeling to play and to give this feedback to our fans. So I'm looking forward to play in front of them.

In the last season, we have two types of goalkeepers! Two personalities, which is you, what do you think?

Maybe I will say like a mix. But I have to say that in the last years, I'm more like Cupi than Rodego. This spirit as I say, like I'm really quiet guy out of the field. But inside I'm another person. And I'm really active, really nervous, but in a good way. And after I like to talk so much with the fans to talk with the players and of course as I said, it's important and of course it's good to give this feedback to the fans.

And the goalkeeper has to be a little bit crazy, you know?

Yeah a little, a little.
