On Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Telekom Veszprém will close the group phase in the VELUX EHF Champions League against PGE Vive Kielce in Poland. We asked our head coach and players about this game, important for the final spots in the group.

David Davis: It is going to be complicated like every Champions League game. This is the last round of the group phase and everybody wants to win. We all know Talant Dujshebaev’s teams, and he never wants to lose. They need to wait to what happens with Löwen but they might finish fourth in the group. For us it is vital to win there, because we cannot expect Montpellier to do our own job. We are preparing for the game as always. If we finish in the second place, we can have a better opponent.

Máté Lékai: We all know what the stakes of this game are. If we get a minimum of one point, we will finish the group in second place, but of course, we would like to win. Kielce has a lot of injured player, but I am sure that some of them will return against us. We prepare to everyone and we will see who plays on Saturday. I think they are a candidate to the Final4 if they would not have so many injuries. They have world-class players. I expect a hard game, because the Arena is always sold out in Kielce and there is a great atmosphere. Despite this, I hope that we can continue our winning streak.

Dragan Gajic: I think it is going to be one of the hardest matches this year. They do not have anything to lose. I do not know if they had any calculations to finish fourth or fifth but this is the most dangerous team to play against. We have to win and get two points to finish second in the group. That was our objective before the whole campaign. They will not have pressure, but we will have. I think it is going to be difficult because of that. We are in a good run now and we have to be confident. We are a better team than they are and we want to show this on the court. We have to play our game with discipline and courage.

Kentin Mahé: We would like to win and finish second in the group. We expect a tough match. There is always great atmosphere there. We do not know which player will play because they have some injuries. We expect to continue being good and strong.
