Mahé plays for Telekom Veszprém from July of 2018!

The deal between our Club and Kentin Mahé states that the playmaker is going to play in Veszprém from the 1st of July 2018 to the 30th of June 2021.

The playmaker who can also play left wing was born on the 22nd of May 1991, has a height of 186 cm and a weight of 81 kg.

As a child he played for AS Monaco and ASPTT Nice and in 2000 he signed for TSV Bayer Dormagen. There his father Pascal Mahé became his coach who was Olympic bronze medalist (1992) and World Champion (1995), played 297 times for the French National Team,.

Kentin has been playing in the Bundesliga since 2008 where his first team was DHC Rheinland. In 2011 he signed to Gummerbach where he played in the Cup Winner's Cup's final in his first year. Between 2013 and 2015 he played for HSV Hamburg and at the moment he is the member of Flensburg-Handewitt where he is the top scorer in the VELUX EHF Champions League this season.

As a member of the French Junior National Team he was voted MVP of the 2010 European Championship and became the top scorer alongside our Gasper Marguc. He was a member of the French National Team in 2014 when they won the European Championships and has won 2 World Championships in 2015 and 2017. In 2017 he was the tournament's 13th top scorer with 37 goals. Last summer in the Olympics of Rio de Janeiro he won silver medal with the French side.
