Life has been busy around the team of Csurgó in the past period, as the list of arrivals and departures has been announced one by one. Next to Grega Krecic, head coach Norbert Baranyai cannot count on Matko Rotim, Ádám Tóth, László Szeitl, Rok Skol and Tamás Konyicsák next year. Among others, Tamás Papp and Péter Tóth will arrive, who are changing clubs within the league, former join from NEKA, the latter from Fejér-B.Á.L. Veszprém to Csurgó. In addition to the two Hungarian players, three foreign signings have already been announced. David Mazurek arrived from the Czech bronze medalist Zubri, Matevz Zagar from Koper, while last year's top scorer of the Slovenian championship, Aleksa Tufegdzic from Slovan Ljubljana. Besides them, Tamás Borsos and Mirko Herceg also extended their contracts.

Our opponent from Saturday is currently in the 6th position in the K&H League, 2 points behind from the 5th placed Balatonfüred. They were able to win only one of their last 5 matches, against Cegléd. In addition, they played a draw against Budakalász and Balatonfüred, and were defeated by Ferencváros and Dabas.

Our team recently won against Budai Farkasok in the domestic championship. After the match against Csurgó, we will play against Kielce in the Champions League in a one-on-one match.

In the 2022/23 season, we already met Norbert Baranyai's team once, then we won 44-28 at home. Last year we achieved a twelve goal away success and won by thirteen goals at Veszprém Arena.
