Telekom Veszprém hosted Ferencváros on a Hungarian Leauge game. The guests started the game and Lékai’s two goals they ran away by 2 goals quickly. Yahia missed a penalty and Ferencváros led by 7-4 in the 7th minute. Nenadic and Nilsson scored the goals on Veszprém side, Építők equalised. Marguc scored after a nice attack and Veszprém took the lead (10-9). Ilic made a complete line change at the middle of the half, then Marguc’s penalty goal there was a 2 goals advantage (14-12). Ferencváros played 7:6 in attack and they were efficient mostly. Mahé scored an empty net goal and that was his 500th goal in Veszprém jersey. Corrales punished on of the numerous lost balls of Ferencváros and raised the lead to 4 goals (26. min 21-17). At the end of the half Ilic called a timeout and Veszprém had a 4 goals advantage in the break.

In the second half Nilsson scored first, then Nenadic reached another goal. After nice stolen balls Veszprém scored easy goals and raised the lead to 10 goals, the guests had to call a timeout (37. min 34-24). Nilsson was on fire, the teammates often found him, and he scored all the chances and had 10 goals in the 42. minute (39-30). There were a lot of goals in the game, not the defences were the dominating. Építők played on top level and raised the difference continuously (50. min 46-33). In the endgame Szabó Tas made his debut, but he missed his penalty. Pechmalbec scored the 50th home goal and Veszprém sealed the victory on an extreme goal rich game. In the K&H League, today’s match broke the record for the most goals scored in one game.

István Pásztor: I would like to congratulate to Veszprém. I think it was a good preparation for both teams. Momir Ilic was able to motivate his players for 60 minutes, so they pushed throughout the whole game. We play away in France on Tuesday, for which I think today was a really good preparation. However, it has been proven that our defence is not tight enough against a line player-left back duo of this level. I am very happy that Dominik Bredák could play in this match (due to the junior national team's schedule) and scored two goals. I think this is a great success for him as well. I wish Veszprém all the best in the Champions League, of course we watch all their matches!

Momir Ilic: Good evening! First of all, I would like to congratulate my players! And of course all of respect for Pásztor’s team. 90 goals are pretty much in one game. It was a really fast game with high tempo and with a lot of fastbreaks. We scored 50 goals which I was satisfied, but the 40 goals what we got is too much I wasn’t satisfies our defence of course. Now we need time to improve our game. I wish all the best for Fradi!

Tas Szabó: I am happy that I could play along such a good player today. Unfortunately, I could not score, but I am happy that I made my debut in the first team.
