Magyar Telekom has been supporting our club since 1997, as main sponsor since 2016. After more than 25 years, on 30 June 2024, Telekom and Veszprém Handball Team Zrt. will end the cooperation by mutual agreement.

A quarter of a century is a long time, which inevitably involves change and development. In such cases, it happens that those who involved enter a new stage and continue their journey based on common results, but in a different direction. This happened with the cooperation of our club and the eponymous main sponsor, Magyar Telekom, which we terminated by mutual agreement with effect from 30 June 2024, concluding a long joint work full of memorable moments.

Tibor Rékasi, CEO of Magyar Telekom, emphasized: "I look back with great pride on all the outstanding successes that Telekom Veszprém has achieved in these nearly three decades as one of Hungary's most successful handball clubs and record champions. It was an honour for Telekom to support a team and to strengthen its fan community with digital solutions, which has forever written itself into the world history of handball. I wish the club similar success in the future!"

A good cooperation is really recognized when both parties become more and more valuable. We, the Veszprém Handball Club, can proudly say that we spent the most beautiful and successful period of our club together with Magyar Telekom. We belonged to a community - for almost a quarter of a century - where the pursuit of efficiency and true quality, the winning mindset imbues an entire organization, which was also a huge honour for us. Times change, of course, but what we learned from each other, what value we provided to each other, will always remain our part! Thank you to Magyar Telekom for taking us on this journey!

Dr. Csaba Bartha, CEO of Veszprém Handball Team Zrt., praised the cooperation between the club and Magyar Telekom: "We thank Magyar Telekom for the support that contributed to the team's success and the club's reputation over the past 25 years. According to my colleagues, we could always count on our partner, Magyar Telekom Nyrt., in everything. As a Veszprém sympathizer, I followed this good cooperation. I wish the company all the best in the future!"

By mutual decision, Magyar Telekom and Veszprém Handball Team Zrt. will dissolve their existing cooperation on 30 June 2024. For the past years both sides look back on positively. Veszprém Handball Team Zrt. is going through a planned structural transformation, which affects both the name sponsor and the additional supporting partners. This structural change continues to make it possible, and even strengthens us, to be a reliable and quality service-providing support country for a team striving for the highest goals, as a strong and unavoidable brand of European handball.
