The EHF suspended the Champions League season

The European Handball Federation issued a statement on not only the VELUX EHF Champions League but also all European competitions.

Quoting the EHF:

„The EHF has now analyzed the overall situation and also all the individual information coming from all handball bodies in Europe and came to the conclusion to postpone all matches of the Men's Club Competitions in March.

This includes the knock-out matches of the Last 16 of the VELUX EHF Champions League.

All these matches are postponed until further notice.”

The reasons behind the Federation’s decision are that the adequate logistic features are not provided, such as travelling of EHF employees, delegates and teams, closed borders and venues.

In case of any further information, we will notify our Supporters right away!
