Alfred Gislason –coach of Kiel: The well-prepared Veszprem, whose play changed a lot during the last months, forced us to an extremely difficult match. Now the Hungarian team is in better position despite of our one-goal victory. Our aim only can be the victory in the second match too.

Antonio Carlos Ortega – coach of MKB Veszprem: It was a great, eventful match, on which with a better finish we could obtain a huge surprise. At our six-goal lead we made the series of serious mistakes, we was did not concentrate, and we brought up our opponent by this. We spoiled the end of the match, that’s the truth. However, we have the chance to get into the Final Four.

László Nagy –captain of Veszprem: It was a great fight, worthy of two well-trained ensemble. I regret that in the end we made a lot of technique failure because our lead melted by that. The suspensions hit us too. We prepare for the rematch, in which will have a chance to go to the best four.

Gábor Császár – playmaker of Veszprem: Due to our team-work we dominated the game until the finish. We built our tactic well, and we could do that too. The Kiel made up everything on one card at the end, and won. The ratio of suspensions is slightly exaggerated. We can be proud of this result. Kiel is ahead of a brutal battle in Veszprem.

Filip Jicha – left back of Kiel: The result is not bad, but our play was tragic until the finish. We have to fight for the qualification to the Final Four, it will be very difficult, but we will do it.
